Superior cosmetics start with superior ingredients.

"We Don't Settle for Good Ingredients."

"We Pursue Overwhelmingly Superior Ones."

Our Standard?

Excellent, X

Unparalleled, O

Our products are exclusively launched based on rigorous direct research and scientific theory.

In today's society, anyone can launch a cosmetics brand by shopping at a cosmetics manufacturer, choosing containers, selecting formulations, and deciding on concepts. Some products are launched by merely changing the packaging of an already developed formulation through Private Label methods. This approach saves on research and development costs, focusing instead on packaging and marketing to save time and money.

While many beauty brands operate this way, our approach to product development fundamentally differs. We invest significant time and effort in research and development, saving on packaging and marketing costs. Our goal is to launch a product that sells well and to develop effective and innovative products that contribute to long-term skin health and beauty.

"Overwhelmingly Superior Ingredients Can Only
Come From Overwhelming Superior Process."

Here’s the Product Development Process of Monteranc Volumefilling.

A. 1000-Hours of Raw Materials Screening

We search for ingredients that possess the efficacy our product aims for, selecting them based on scientific literature and research papers.

B. Securing Safety Data

We review whether the ingredient is suitable for use in cosmetics. Ingredients excluded in this process are mainly those for which safety data is unavailable or those only ideal for pharmaceutical use.

C. 5-Times of Raw Materials Quality Verification

We aim only for high-quality ingredients; therefore, we verify them in various ways.

C1. Non-Destructive Automatic Sampling

This method automatically collects samples without damaging the product, preparing samples for accurate analysis while maintaining product quality.

C2. Purity Testing

GCMS, LCMS, HPLC, UPLC: These technologies are used to measure the purity of compounds, and each analysis technique is designed to be suitable for different types of compounds. GCMS and LCMS use gas and liquid chromatography, respectively, while HPLC and UPLC analyze liquid samples under high pressure to separate and quantify components.

C3. Structural Analysis

NMR, Dispersive X-ray Diffraction Analysis: NMR is used to elucidate the molecular structure of compounds, while dispersive X-ray diffraction analysis is used to analyze the microstructure of materials, including crystal structures. These methods are essential for accurately understanding the molecular and crystal structures of cosmetic raw materials.

C4. Mass Analysis

MALDI TOF Qualitative, QTRAP Quantitative: MALDI TOF is used for rapid identification of specific molecules in large samples for qualitative analysis, while QTRAP is used for quantitative analysis of specific compounds. These technologies measure the exact mass of cosmetic raw materials to identify components and determine quantities.

C5. Protein Interaction Analysis

MST and ITC: MST (Microscale Thermophoresis) and ITC (Isothermal Titration Calorimetry) are used to analyze the interaction between proteins and ligands to understand intracellular signaling processes. These methods are important for understanding how cosmetic raw materials act within cells.

D. 100-Times of Verification of Ingredient Efficacy

D1. In Silico Experiments

To minimize animal and cell experiments in the early stages of research, molecular dynamics, toxicity prediction, and skin permeability prediction experiments are conducted through computer simulations for molecular prediction modeling.

D2. In Vitro Experiments

Once basic research data on selected ingredients is compiled, laboratory tests at the cellular level are conducted to verify the efficacy of the ingredients. Through these experiments, the impact of the ingredients on skin cells can be precisely evaluated.

E. 500-Times of Formulating

Based on the laboratory test results, we create a draft of the product formula by blending the ingredients at the optimal combination and concentration. This formulation process takes into account not only the efficacy of the product but also consumer experience factors such as usability and texture.

F. Safety and Stability Tests

Once the product formula is determined, safety and stability tests are conducted to evaluate the long-term effects of product use and product changes under storage conditions. This is to ensure that the product does not cause adverse effects on the skin and that the quality of the product is maintained.

G. 9-Times of Upgrades

Since its release, there have been several ingredient upgrades. The packaging change occurred initially in 2023.

Such that the effort equivalent to 100 products goes into just one.

Due to the numerous ingredients and formulations eliminated in this process, Monteranc has just released various products. The researchers at Monteranc Research Lab take great pride in our unique and passionate approach to research and development. We enjoy the creative challenge of exploring and introducing new ingredients, and we are confident that the products born from this process will deliver actual value to you. We invite you to experience firsthand the fruits of our labor and creativity.
